Growing up, I've always considered myself a tomboy, but recently I've been falling more and more in love with androgynous fashion. As a young girl, and still to this day, I was always told by relatives and former friends that I couldn't wear this and I shouldn't wear that. I never really understood why, but now I realize that it all comes down to FOTQ - fear of the queer. I totally just made that abbreviation up, but what I mean is just that being queer and whatnot is something people have been scared of for so long. Entering 2017 I, as well as the rest of the world, have become more aware of gender roles and feminism. The traditional idea of what girls and boys are supposed to be like is slowly dissolving into thin air. I love to dress this way and that doesn't necessarily make me boyish. That just makes me me-ish. What I wear is not men's clothing, they're my clothes. I bought them and I'm wearing them.

Anyways, on to the outfit itself. I got myself a vintage varsity jacket in Brooklyn last week and here it is in action. I wore the jacket on a shopping spree in the fashionable SoHo and I got my picture taken by some cool street style photographer dude. I really wish I knew who he was and where my photo is gonna end up.

Valentine's Date

If someone, in an alternate universe, ever were to take me out for dinner on Valentine's Day, this is what I would want to wear. I would pair this gorgeous Alexander McQueen dress with a classic Valentino Rockstud leather pump, a Valentino stud bag and a pair of Simone Rocha pearl earrings to soften up this very edgy look a bit. *Sigh* a girl can dream, right?

Dover Street Market

Four words: OH. MY. FREAKIN'. GOD. Yesterday, I went to Dover Street Market which is a jewel of a store. It feels more like being in an art museum rather than being in an actual store. The staff is  so cool and stylish that they could be a part of the exhibition. It honestly feels like walking into a living and breathing runway. If you appreciate the art of avant garde fashion, then this is the place for you, my dear.

The Apartment

Walking into The Apartment by The Line is like walking into a real life Pinterest board. It's one of the coolest and most untraditional places in New York City, that I've seen this time around. The Apartment is a classic NYC loft located in SoHo where everything you see is for sale. Like everything. So, if you're into Scandinavian interior design then I'd say this loft is a must see!

Heyyy, happy sunday! This is me, posing whilst sitting in my favourite chair. I went in to town to pick up the last few bits before I'm off on vacay. How many people do you know who applies red lipstick sunday evening just to run a few errands?

This is probably the last post I'm posting whilst on Danish soil because in a few days I'm off to New York City for a couple of weeks, so keep your eyes peeled for more interesting and American content during those weeks. I'm so excited that I could literally cry.

Firstly, HAPPY NEW YEAR! Secondly, this is my new blog. After a heck load of frustration, confusion and decision-making, I've decided to stay on Blogger after all. So yeah. New year, new beginning.
