Örjan Andersson bomber jacket | Sonia Rykiel bustier | American Apparel tote bag

On a lovely spring day, as such it is today, I bring to thee yet another all-black outfit post. I've added an off-white tote bag as a contrast to the black clothes. The tote bag is like the coolest bag of the century in my humble and honest opinion. I bought this one in the American Apparel store in SoHo right before they closed down. #ripamericanapparel

Casual Friday Attire. // 03172017

Thrifted leather jacket | Archive by Alexa shirt | Zara trousers + shoes

Just a quick little update to show you my outfit from yesterday. I went to visit one of my old friends from school who I haven't seen in ages. I told her about this new YouTuber I recently discovered and have a huuuge crush on. I always fall in love with strangers on the internet and it's actually so frustrating. My friend thought it was hilarious though. Do you ever fall in love with people on the internet?

It Was My Mom's in the '80s

Vintage scarf + biker jacket | handmade dress | Sonia Rykiel heels | Alexander Wang bag

This is probably one of my favourite outfits I've worn on my blog so far. Mainly because it seems as if I haven't spent a single penny on it (Minus the Wang bag ofc). I found the biker jacket in a local thrift shop for $14, I sewed the dress myself and my dear mother bought the scarf back in the '80s when she was living in Rome. The shoes are Sonia Rykiel x H&M wedges from 2009, yo.

Are Stripes a Never-Ending Trend?

Handmade knit | Monki skirt | Dr. Martens boots | Alexander Wang bag

It's such a gloomy dismal sunday here in Denmark. It's windy, it's snowing, it's raining and it's really dark outside. Thanks to the weather, I'll literally be doing NOTHING today. So I'm currently sitting by my window with a nice cuppa tea whilst I'm reflecting on life (*fashion, that is...). My outfit is very lazy day appropriate as I'm wearing a sweater my mum made knitted ages ago, my Dr. Martens boots and my beloved Alexander Wang bag. The striped sweater is sort of a funny fashion item, if you ask me.
Before everyone's favourite girl, Coco, introduced the striped top to the fashion world in 1917, it was used as workwear by the french navy. Throughout the ages, we have seen the striped top on icons such as Audrey Hepburn, Brigitte Bardot, Jane Birkin, Kate Moss etc. This got me thinking, is the striped top one of those items that never go out of style? Or maybe it just works as a not-so-basic basic wardrobe piece?

What do you think? Are stripes a never-ending trend? Anyways, happy sunday!

H&M Studio SS17 Favourites

I'm gonna have to be honest here, I'm not a huge fan of H&M. I don't like the quality of their clothes, yet there's always something about their studio collections that grabs my attention. This collection is ballet inspired and very romantic. Heck, they even had the words 'love' and 'amore' written on a few of their pieces. I like ballet – a lot actually. Maybe that's what won me over this time around? I can't quite figure out how I really feel about this collection, however I did manage to find a few pieces that I like. The first thing on my list is the lace triangle bra. A simple black lace bra is sort of becoming a classic item and it isn't necessarily associated with H&M. Then there's the woven lace dress which is already sold out (which is understandable). It is one of the key items of this collection. Lastly, there's the sheer embellished scarf which is SO me. Anything black, edgy, sheer and beaded is perfection in my eyes.

Which ones are your favourites from the H&M Studio SS17 collection?
